Becoming a Pastry Chef
For those interested in pursuing this as a career, our 9 month advance display is ideal. A wide and in-depth lesson plan covers skills such as chocolate-making, chocolate displays, sugar art, plated desserts, and modern French pastries. The course helps students to create works of art and precision that will grant them placements in hotels, restaurants, and bakeries, or start patisseries of their own.

Getting into Baking
For a closer look into the diverse and delicate art of pastry, the professional pastry classes offer a more rigorous training to students, perfecting their knowledge in vital culinary skills like bread baking, cake baking and decorating, pastry designing and chocolate work. The smaller class-strength also provides a more personal and thorough hands-on experience. 6 Week Programmes
The Academy of Pastry and Culinary Arts (APCA) offers 6 week programmes in 2 categories. One is an Intensive Pastry Programme for people that wish to pursue pastry making and baking professionally but do not have enough time to devote to a full course. The other is an Eggless Baking Certificate Programme to match the increase in demand for eggless desserts in India.

Intensive Pastry Programme
This six-week programme in Pastry and Bakery Arts is customised to make the most of its limited time frame to inculcate the lessons needed to follow through on one’s passion for pastry. Breads, tarts, chocolates, ice creams, French pastries, Travel Cakes and cookies are covered in this programme. To top it off, the course offers classes on business management, budgeting, menu planning, logistics and other such skills for budding entrepreneurs.

Eggless Baking Certificate Programme
India is a nation with a colourful array of people and lifestyles, making it no surprise that the market for eggless desserts and baked goods has only widened in the past couple of years.
